Not the worst explanation ever. But what we do forget is the actual meaning of a digital product. And in some way shape or form they need to be sold online.

This is where people forget the quickness of online. People can click away and there is a reduced chance that they ever come back.

Everyone online is selling. From the entrepreneur, large business or even the non-profit. They all are selling online their digital products because...why be online?

So what are digital products?

They can be anything, but they also must have a purpose. So here is a non-exhaustive- non-AI list of digital products:

  • An article that you release online has to have an end affect- does it tell people to do something, educate them, sell something?
  • If you place a signup form somewhere then you need to sell the reasoning behind that form and why people should sign up
  • why should people watch your video, how is it going to help them, is it going to be fun, enrich their lives, follow a story, give them knowledge?
  • why should anyone open a social media post or email? Again, what is it for them With the thousands that they will see every week your post- regardless of it being free or not, you have to sell the open.
