Is Affiliate Marketing Legit
Yes. It has been done for ages through time in some way shape or
form. Affiliate sales is mainly an online thing, but offline? It is
called commission sales. What sometimes isn't legit is the following:
- Some
iffy companies that will get the sales from you but might not pay on
time/ in the manner which you signed up for. That is why it is good to
go with the brands that have been around for a while
- How you
sell has been really iffy. Some people try to scam people into buying
through their links. Or promised X,Y and Z- get the sale but get tons of
refunds.
- Poor product. The main iffiness with affiliate
selling is the promoting of products that people have not used and have
no clue what they are talking about. Unfortunately this is not a minimal
amount of affiliate. When people see higher commissions on some
products, the price is their driving factor, not the helping of the
customer.
There's also quite a few online affiliate marketers that promote their own how to do affiliate marketing products and that is the affiliate marketing that they are trying to sell. They sell the sizzle of the streak but they never give you any steak to begin with.

Many successful people don't tell you their tricks and tips, because you will become competition :)
But all have found this the foundation of success:
1- find a large enough group of customers in an area where you enjoy. Engage and build up rapport
2- find out their issues
3- solve their issues with your affiliate product
4- repeat or increase your audience
A quicker way would be to buy attention. You buy your audience to look at your affiliate offer. It is much quicker but also can be expensive.
