Viewer Accelerating Youtube Strategies With MrBeast
Youtube strategies with MrBeast is clearly what people are after. We haven't asked MrBeast but we have researched all the reasons why he was successful.
When you search through his own videos you find he gives out knowledge quite freely. However he is perfectly aware that people are going to copy but will they have the dedication to do the same?
And that is the point. MrBeast:
- Knows Youtube
- Knows the Youtube systems of what they look for in video (going down to knowing at what point people click off video and analysing that)
- MrBeast also completely realises that audience and videos are intertwined. People check out the videos, and they know that MrBeast looks after his subscribers. That link will also show you how MrBeast gained popularity.
What we have found is the underlying point of Youtube? To promote what people click on an watch. If they click away within seconds then that video is not what they wanted. Especially if they typed in a search word. It gets ranked against the next video of similar topic. If you watch that video for 5 minutes then it gets promoted more and that first video you saw gets demoted.
Here are the main Youtube strategies that can be found online and running through videos
- Prioritize Quality Over Quantity: MrBeast emphasizes that producing one exceptional video can yield more views than releasing numerous mediocre ones. He advises creators to focus on making each video outstanding rather than adhering to a frequent posting schedule.
- Enhance Viewer Retention: Maintaining audience engagement throughout the video is crucial. MrBeast suggests that even minor improvements, such as better lighting, can significantly boost viewer retention, leading to higher view counts.
- Engage in Continuous Learning and Improvement: He recommends that new creators produce 100 videos, striving to enhance each one progressively. This iterative process helps in refining content quality and understanding audience preferences. Your initial videos will be awful, but the next one will be better. Constant improving and tweaking is the key. Good content gets shared. Very few creators get thousands of views on the first 100 videos initially. As you pass those 100 videos views increase. Then people may look at the previous videos.
- Create Compelling Thumbnails and Titles: MrBeast highlights the importance of eye-catching thumbnails and intriguing titles to attract clicks. He believes that investing effort into these elements can significantly increase a video's click-through rate. Also, making sure that the first 5 seconds of that thumbnail playing is awesome- it invites you to watch and click on the video.
- Understand Audience Preferences: He advises creators to study human psychology to determine what content viewers find enjoyable and engaging, tailoring videos to meet these interests. Looking at trends, news stories, comments all help. He seems to like "react" videos. Also, make sure the video has pacing- it's not boring or just you being filmed. Have different angles. Get people who you trust to review your videos and get them to roast it.
- Collaborate and Share Knowledge: MrBeast encourages creators to collaborate and share insights with peers, fostering a community of growth and mutual support.
The main key from these 6 points? Collaborate. It was due to collaboration that MrBeast exploded. Add in sponsorship/ ad money and then the videos exploded even more. One fed the other. Money giveaways was the main thing that MrBeast was famous for- especially giving to people who had very little/ giving to random people online.
It is also worthy to note that MrBeast states you don't need money to make viral videos. He didn't have money initially. Also some of the main videos that have got millions of views were only made for a few dollars.

MrBeast had a sit down with Ronaldo (the soccer player) who has also created a Youtube channel. MrBeast gave him some insights. Here's the video.
The main takeaways:
- It took MrBeast 13 years to get to 60 million subscribers
- Again he advises collaboration and react videos
- Get in a rhythm
- Don't do hard things, people like you and your thing is soccer
- Thumbnail- keep your mouth closed. Use high quality images. Show expression
- Find out what type of your content/ videos your fans enjoy and then make more of them. MrBeast found that the various "challenges" like "7 days on a raft" people enjoyed. He only knew this because of the other challenges had large viewer numbers and shares
- The most viewed Youtube video in 24hrs was one with 100 Youtube celebrities. How did it get rocket up the views so quick? All the Youtubers posted about it on the same day it came out. You can even see some of them with their own cameras filming the process- preselling the video.
